Bird control built from installation experience and specification knowledge.
The experience behind UKBC comes from real installation work, drawing reviews, measured quantities and preparing specifications. We put that knowledge to work on your project.
Technical judgement backed by practical installation understanding.
UKBC draws on practical experience of live commercial premises as well as construction tenders, from large warehouse interiors and occupied estates to drawing review, specialist installation and maintenance handover.
The work draws on direct installation and site supervision experience, low-level platforms, access towers, scaffolding, MEWPs, roof work and rope access environments, bird control quantity take-offs and material breakdowns, specialist installation coordination and the production of detailed quotations, system specifications and O&M manuals.
This practical approach helps UKBC identify the right bird control system, resolve installation interfaces and develop a clear, maintainable solution for the building.
Start with the facts
We check drawings, site evidence and bird activity before deciding whether a visit is needed.
Built around the project
We work through the quantities, access, interfaces and programme with your team.
Durable materials
Long-life stainless systems are the default where technically suitable.
Maintainable
Installations should remain inspectable, repairable and compatible with building maintenance.
Complex buildings call for practical decisions, not a standard product list.
The experience behind UKBC includes specialist work in distribution environments, occupied high-rise buildings, social housing and complex commercial premises, alongside projects in other controlled-access settings.
That experience was developed through earlier project roles and specialist contracting work. It informs our approach to drawing reviews, measured quantities, installation interfaces, access constraints, programme planning, technical specifications and O&M handover.
Every UKBC tender is reviewed against the project requirements, with relevant supporting experience and credentials provided where applicable.
From drawings and quantities to an auditable handover.
Our approach combines practical bird proofing experience, technical drawing reviews and clear specifications for commercial properties and construction projects.
- Review of project drawings, existing system designs and bills of quantities.
- Bird control quantity take-offs and material breakdowns, system recommendations and documented scope assumptions.
- Coordination of relevant specialist subcontractors, including high level access.
- Quotation detail, installation records, as-built information and O&M manuals.
- Clear inspection, maintenance and system guarantee information where agreed in the contract.
Guarantee terms, maintenance requirements and inspection arrangements are set out clearly in the relevant quotation and handover documents.
316 marine-grade stainless steel by default.
UKBC specifies stainless-steel proofing systems as the default for long-term external installations. Galvanised alternatives can be considered where a client specification or budget requires them, but lifecycle, corrosion exposure and maintenance expectations should be assessed at survey stage.
